Our intimate and personal experience is presented in a way to expose American audiences to something different. The Tea House includes a performance from the Geisha during your interactive experience coupled with seasonal dishes that are enjoyed in Japan regularly. Throughout, a host will serve and guide you through your time.

Geisha Experience
Geisha Performance (Matsunoya Corporation)
Witness this rare opportunity of an ancient form of art, as these are the first Geisha to ever be performing in the US. Each Geisha show is interactive and will feel like an intimate cocktail party.
For attendance, there is a minimum of 2 Guests who are allowed to invite 4 more attendees, seating up to a maximum of 6.
After the last show, the Geisha will retire to their private lounge “The Geisha Lounge”. If the Geisha chooses to invite you into their lounge they may teach you a traditional Japanese drinking game.
Tea Ceremony
Authentic Tastes of Japan
A ceremonial way of preparing and drinking Green Tea, to enjoy the hospitality of the host in an atmosphere distinct from the fast pace of everyday life. Our traditional Japanese tea ceremonies are inclusive of Matcha and Wagashi while our hosts will wear Hakama’s during the tea ceremonies.

The Cafe is open 8am-4pm with lunch being served from 12pm-4pm. You’ll be able to enjoy our hot drinks of Uji Kyoto Matcha, Hoji Cha and Genmaicha. Enjoy our assortments of authentic and daily Japanese sweets. *Visitors buying matcha and sweets do not get a table.

Enjoy a selection of asian spirits, cocktails and our Japanese HighBall: is an art form in making it. When perfected it is delicate and refreshing that’s more complex than it appears. As you enjoy your drinks you'll be surrounded by Kumiko in the lounge: a traditional, intricate and sophisticated technique of assembling wooden pieces without the use of nails, an authentic Japanese delight.
Additionally you will have your choice of a Bento Box: Beef, Sashimi and Smoked Tofu, and Vegetable served with Rice, Kyoto pickles, Hijiki and our specialty house miso paste personally made by our Chef *Yusuke Irie.

Sushi is not the focus at GION Beverly Hills, we offer a different perspective of Japanese food and experiences outside of typical Japanese dining.
We do not have a specific dining area. All areas serve dishes that Japanese enjoy on a daily basis or otherwise a style of home cooking.
Our Chef is Yusuke Irie and supplies GION Beverly Hills with special fish that no other restaurant has access to.
Speakeasy style entrance in the back of the building is the entrance.
Guests will be escorted to the secret entrance of GION Beverly Hills, reminiscent of the alleyways in Gion used by Geishas to avoid the public as they are not allowed to be photographed. Geisha are rare to see, which is why it is a mysterious or elusive entrance.
There is valet parking.
